NEW EXTERNAL MASTER SOCKETS SUPPLIED BY BT

BT can now supply you with an external isolation point (External NTE) for your home telephone wiring, at this box BT can isolate your home wiring for testing, repair or replacement.

This then removes the problem of which cable and which telephone point belongs to BT and which cable and telphone points you as the customer have access to.

If this external Network Terminating Equipment has been fitted with the LTM, then no master socket is required to be fitted within your home.
